As Ukrainian soldiers actively use FPV drones to destroy enemy equipment and personnel, the demand for safe and efficient transportation of these “fierce birds” continues to grow. M-TAC has developed a lightweight upgraded version of the FPV drone backpack — the M-Tac FPV Drone Backpack Lightweight (7″ Drones) — designed for organized, secure, and streamlined transport of FPV drones in the field.

This new model is significantly lighter than the previous version while fully retaining its protective properties.
The main compartment opens like a suitcase and is divided into individual padded sections for storing up to 7 FPV drones. When the dividers are removed, the backpack can hold up to 15 drones (without batteries).

At the top, the backpack includes a dedicated equipment compartment suitable for a controller, batteries, FPV goggles, cables, and other accessories.
The front features an elastic cord lacing system, allowing you to secure a jacket, ghillie net, or additional items. A loop panel provides space for ID markers and patches.

Constructed from Cordura 500D and Cordura 1000D, this backpack ensures exceptional durability, abrasion resistance, and long service life.
The internal walls and dividers are reinforced with EVA foam and Tegris® composite — a high-strength polypropylene material known for its rigidity, impact resistance, and minimal weight.
Thanks to these upgraded materials, the full configuration of the backpack has become 1.5–2 kg lighter, which is a major advantage during long missions.

Inside the pack, mesh organizer pockets help secure essential items.
The shoulder straps feature a quick-release system, and additional side and top handles allow the backpack to be carried vertically or horizontally.
