The quick-release pouch for an M249 200-round ammo box allows convenient carry and rapid deployment of the metal box during combat operations.

Made from high-tech Cordura Squadron — an ultra-durable fabric resistant to abrasion and heavy loads.

The M249 ammo pouch features a two-part construction consisting of a cover for the ammo box and a VELCRO® Brand-mounted platform with a seating tongue to provide secure retention or swift deployment.

The box is firmly secured by side straps and loop closures. The primary retention element is a loop panel with a seating insert; an additional securing strap with a WJ (Woojin) quick-release buckle is attached to the main platform. The pouch mounts to gear via a Laser Cut MOLLE interface and is configurable for either right- or left-side carry.

Note: This product (M249 box mag pouch) is not compatible with soft (fabric) ammo pouches or ammo boxes from other machine-gun models.
