The M-Tac Samurai Mask Patch features the iconic Somen—the face mask worn by Samurai warriors. Historically, these masks (men-gu) served the dual purpose of protecting the face and instilling fear in the enemy, while also concealing the wearer's emotions—a key element of Japanese martial arts philosophy. Young Samurai concealed their youth, while experienced warriors used masks to mislead opponents.

This patch, executed in patriotic blue and yellow colors, embodies the Samurai philosophy of high self-control and moral strength in difficult situations.

The patch is made of Cordura 500D—an ultra-durable material—with a refined look achieved through colorful machine embroidery. It attaches easily to gear using hook-and-loop.
