M-Tac designers, taking into account the experience and wishes of servicemen, developed this innovative plate carrier cover specifically for the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade (3rd OASBr) of Ukraine. This product has become a true legend of this war, passing battlefield tests with the brigade's fighters and establishing itself as a reliable and high-quality piece of gear.

A key distinguishing feature of the M-Tac Plate Carrier Cover Sturm Gen.II Elite—and its main difference from previous generations—is the inclusion of quick-release Duraflex buckles on the cummerbund. These premium fasteners combine a simplified locking/unlocking system with low weight and exceptional strength (able to withstand high loads). The system allows for rapid donning and doffing with a swift upward or downward pull on the designated strap.

This cover is compatible with standard ESAPI (USA) ballistic plates in Medium (12.5 x 9.5 in / 31.8 x 24.1 cm), Large (13.3 x 10.2 in / 33.7 x 26 cm), and Extra Large (14.0 x 11.0 in / 35.5 x 28 cm) sizes. An internal elastic band and special webbing straps allow you to easily adjust the carrier to the size of your required plate.

The cover can be supplemented with the M-Tac Soft Ballistic Package (Protection Class 1 for STURM Plate Carrier, sold separately), which consists of six elements: front, back, two cummerbund elements, and two shoulder strap elements.

The plate carrier cover is constructed from high-quality Cordura 500D, an extremely durable fabric that is abrasion-resistant and capable of withstanding high loads. The extended cummerbund, featuring a 4-row MOLLE interface, allows for the attachment of additional gear, such as horizontal IFAKs (Individual First Aid Kits) or utility pouches.

The special shape of the plate carrier, combined with the use of soft ballistic plates, provides maximum anti-fragmentation protection. In this generation, the cover is equipped with a non-removable front MOLLE panel made using laser-cut technology, providing a convenient platform for pouches, holsters, medical kits, organizers, and other equipment.

The top of the carrier features a small administrative pocket secured with a water-resistant AquaGuard zipper, suitable for storing ID cards, permits, or similar-sized items. A VELCRO® Brand panel with slits allows you to attach your favorite patches or other MOLLE-compatible gear.

The rear panel features a classic MOLLE interface. In the upper part, the evacuation strap has been reinforced with special bar-tacks based on military recommendations. On the inner side, across the entire area of the chest and back sections, the brand's designers incorporated 3D mesh inserts and special damper pads to ensure excellent air circulation. The Sturm Gen.II cover can be used in its base configuration or supplemented with additional modules to increase the area of anti-fragmentation protection, forming a modern modular system of individual combat protection.
